Wyandotte Vietnam Veterans Memorial Poster

This is one of my favorite projects that I have just completed.  I was not commissioned to do this, I just felt the need to create it.  The City of Wyandotte has just approved the building of a memorial for the soldiers and heroes that were killed in the Vietnam War.  This is my hometown and their hometown.  The names that appear on this poster gave their lives for the freedoms we know today.  This is not meant to honor just those who lost their lives in Vietnam, but honor ALL veterans that have served this country so bravely and courageously.  I will be making the rounds in the coming weeks to get this poster printed to be used as a fundraiser to help build the memorial.  The prints will cost $20.00 and will be hand signed.  A high portion of the proceeds will be given to the effort to build the memorial.  Please forward this to anyone that may be interested.  I am guaging interest in order to find out how many prints to initially order.  Please do your part for those that gave their lives and those that continue to serve.  Thank you.  LET'S GET IT BUILT!

1948-1949 Leaf Tribute Set

This week I have started a new series! It is my tribute to the iconic and highly collectible 1948 and 1949 Leaf Trading Cards. This is my take on the great series of cards that were produced over 60 years ago. They are the same size, making it an extra challenge for me to create. Now I know what Monty Sheldon goes through when he creates his mini sketch cards! Please let me know what you think.

Ladies and Gentlemen, presenting your 2011-2012 Detroit Red Wings!  Yes, this is my hometown team, and yes I am a part-time employee for the Red Wings, but I thought with the latest 23 game home winning streak, I thought I would pay tribute to one of the greatest organizations in professional sports.  I have included 21 current players and the 6 players who have the distinct honor of having their jersey numbers retired and hanging in the rafters of Joe Louis Arena!  Please let me know what you think of my work!  I hope for big things with this set.  Thank you!
